OpenAI -known artificial intelligence company, has introduced its first standalone web browser called ChatGPT Atlas, which is based on AI.
This is the company's first standalone browser to directly integrate ChatGPT . According to the product page, users can open a ChatGPT sidebar in any window. From there, they can summarize content, compare products, and analyze data.
The launch of ChatGPT Atlas marks a significant step towards integrating artificial intelligence into everyday web browsing. This browser gives users the ability to leverage ChatGPT’s capabilities without having to visit external websites or applications. Finally, the new AI browser has the things you'd expect from a browser. It has tabs, autocomplete, a search bar, and bookmarks. Users can even set browsing preferences and colors.
Users control what ChatGPT remembers, just like in the in-browser and desktop versions. The ChatGPT Atlas “Data Controls and Privacy” page notes that, by default, users’ browsing data is not used to improve or train AI models.
