Beyond these, of course, information indicates that approximately 40 companies are included among the transport partners, some of whose data was leaked following unauthorized access by cybercriminals.

The company's subscribers whose data was leaked as it was included in shipping orders and payment slipshave been identified and have been informed by the company with a relevant message.

It stated that the attack involved unauthorized access to Cleo's Lexicom software, which the transport company used for shipping orders and payment slips. By extension, the information leaked onto the dark web included name, contact information (telephone and email address) and delivery address.

Although to date, Vodafone has not identified a connection between the incident and confirmed cases of electronic fraud or malicious use of data - something that is difficult to determine in any case - the company draws the attention of its customers to possible phishing attempts, telephone or online fraud and, in general, unauthorized exploitation of their data.

For this reason, the company also recommends that its customers remain on heightened alert, avoiding providing personal information in telephone or online communications with unknown senders, not opening links and attachments from unknown sources, activating alerts for suspicious activity on their accounts and regularly checking their transactions for any unauthorized movements.
