One of the reasons Apple has gained such a passionate fan base is its ability to create a memorable first impression through its retail experience. With physical stores located in iconic locations around the world, Apple offers consumers the opportunity to try out its devices without unnecessary barriers or complex processes. At the same time, the stores exude an air of ambition, further reinforcing the uniqueness of the brand.

Google has also expanded into the physical retail space with its exclusive Google Stores, which offer a one-stop experience for all of products and services. In fact, it appears to be on track to open a new store as early as next month.

9to5Google reported a new Google Store listing on Google Maps, set to open in the U.S. on Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. The Google store is located at 1460 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA 90401 , a prominent location on the busy southern end of Third Street Promenade , just a few blocks from the Santa Monica Pier. The area is considered prime for retail , providing ideal exposure for the Google brand and products to the general public.

Google acquires new physical store in Santa Monica

Like other Google Stores, you'll be able to try on and buy Pixel phones, watches, headphones, and tablets. Other Google products, such as Nest smart home devices and Fitbit accessories , will also be available, along with Google-branded merchandise. The store will also offer troubleshooting and repair services for Pixel phones. In addition, users in Los Angeles will be able to place online orders and pick up their products directly from the store.

This will be Google's sixth physical store in the United States, following those in Chelsea, Williamsburg, Mountain View, Newbury Street , and Oakbrook. According to the report, a seventh store is already under development in Austin.
