The COSMOTE - Uni Systems consortium was selected by NATO 's Communications and Information Technology Agency ( NCIA ) , through a framework agreement for the creation of modern technological infrastructure and the provision of consulting services. NCIA is NATO 's technology and cybersecurity hub .
Through the five-year agreement, the association of companies led by COSMOTE will provide consulting services, as well as implementation, automation, management, and support services for ICT systems, in the areas of cybersecurity, computing and network infrastructure. In addition, NCIA will be able to procure services that contribute to the formation of a "smart" work environment, with modern IT equipment and new digital tools (Digital Workplace), as well as the adoption of Cloud technologies. Through the utilization of innovative technologies and the continuous upgrading of physical and digital infrastructure, the association of companies will have the opportunity to contribute to enhancing the efficiency of NCIA, while ensuring business continuity and the availability of critical applications, based on a service level agreement (SLA).
The implementation and monitoring of the contract will be undertaken by a team of specialized engineers of the association, from the facilities of COSMOTE and Uni Systems in Athens, but also with a physical presence at the main NCIA facilities in Brussels, Mons, The Hague and others. The services will be provided at all locations of the Service.
