How to embed a YouTube video in PowerPoint
Step 1: Go to the slide where you want to embed a YouTube by clicking on it in the sidebar section where all your slides are located. Now, click on the exact area where you want to add the video, such as in the title header or in the main body of text below.
Step 2: Click the Insert at the top. Select the Video. From the drop-down list that appears, select Online Video.

Note that if you're using PowerPoint 2019 or later, you'll be able to insert online videos from YouTube by simply copying and pasting the video URL into a slide. If you're using an older version, now's a good time to upgrade
Step 3: Open the video you want to embed on YouTube. Below the video player, click Share , then the Embed. Under the Embed Video, click Embed Code once, which will select the entire section of code. Click the Copy or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + C on Windows).

Step 4: Return to the PowerPoint presentation window after copying the necessary code. In the From a Video Embed Code, paste the code into the adjacent field. Click the Enter on your keyboard or click the small, grayed-out arrow. You're done!
