Seven years after its release on iOS and Android, Nintendo has announced that the free-to-play mobile game Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is closing on November 28th.
The company assured current players that they will be able to enjoy the game for another three months. “We will continue to hold events and add content until the end of the service.”

In addition to the game closing on November 28, Leaf Tickets will no longer be available for purchase starting November 27. As of the end of October, new monthly subscriptions to Pocket Camp Club will no longer be accepted and existing subscriptions will no longer automatically renew.

However, if you're a fan of the game, don't worry! Nintendo says that players' saved data can be transferred to a new version of the game that's in development . The transfer will be done by linking to their Nintendo accounts . The company doesn't plan to reveal the new version just yet, but it did share a few details. The new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be a " paid app with no in-app purchases ." Additionally, a constant internet connection won't be necessary .
