The First Descendant: What changes does Patch 1.0.5 bring?

Patch 1.0.5 of the game The First Descendant has been released, bringing two new playable characters (Luna and Ultimate Valby), a new hard Void Intercept battle (Gluttony), a new module (Arche Concretion) and a new Ultimate weapon (Peace Maker).

The First Descendant is a dynamic free-to-play co-op 3rdPerson looter shooter. Inheriting the power of their ancestors, players take on the role of the Descendants and fight for the survival of humanity, facing off against massive monsters.

Patch 1.0.5 also includes several general changes to The First Descendant. For example, players will no longer be able to equip and remove modules or change loadouts during Intercepts and Infiltrations. Players will now be able to collect all Lost and Found items at once. There will be an option in the settings to disable camera shake off. This update will also add the ability to search for consumables. Players will also be able to favorite items, with items used in presets automatically becoming favorites.

Frenya Room 0 poison area increased from 4 meters to 7 meters. Valby's max skill scale increased from 200% to 250%. Blaire's max skill scale increased from 200% to 250%. Viessa's Glacial Cloud unit no longer has a delay before the snowstorm.

Then, The First Descendant patch 1.0.5 also brings gameplay changes such as a 700% increase in the Drop Rate of void shards from Special Operations. Reduced Knockback distance from traps. Monster immunity sphere Health will scale less with the number of players.

Finally, while this hasn't been implemented in the current patch yet, Nexon has addressed complaints, such as the limited endgame diversity due to slot polarity, and has plans for future changes. Additionally, they're discussing a sort of "guaranteed drop" system to avoid frustration with low odds. They haven't given many details, though they acknowledge that players are unhappy with some aspects of the current system. Both of these issues, as well as a few others, are being addressed for Seasons 1 and 2.
