Anker is refreshing its wireless sleep headphones with the new Soundcore Sleep A20. The announcement was made today to celebrate “World Sleep Day,” but the headphones will be available for purchase on April 16 (Kickstarter). Via Amazon, they will be available from May 20.

Like the previous A10 model, the Soundcore Sleep A20 headphones don’t have active noise cancellation. Anker says the headphones are equipped with “Twin-Seal eartips” that can block out three times more noise than standard silicone earbuds. The headphones can also play white noise from a “sound library,” which helps further block out external sounds. At the same time, the company says the compact design makes the headphones comfortable even when sleeping on your side.

It's worth noting that Anker has put a lot of emphasis on the life battery of the Soundcore Sleep A20 headphones. The headphones now offer up to 14 hours of white noise playback in Sleep mode (up from 10 hours on the previous model) and up to case charging . If someone wants to listen to music from their phone to fall asleep, the battery life drops to 10 hours. However, the older model only offered 6 hours.
Additionally, there's a built-in alarm clock designed to wake you up without disturbing the person who might be sleeping next to you. There's also support for "automatic sleep tracking with sleep position tracking." If for some reason you lose the headphones, you can use the companion app to trigger an audible alert to help you locate them.
