As Gematsu reports , the rumored full version of Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance appeared on the website of South Korea's Game Rating and Administration Commission, which usually leaks announcements for unannounced games . That listing has since been removed, along with a forum post on South Korean website Ruliweb
Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance would be a remastered version of the original, which was released exclusively on Switch in 2021, with various improvements and even additional content. A well-known leaker said that this full version was in development as of June 2023, as Gematsu reported at the time.

There's also precedent for an updated version, as Atlus did the same with Shin Megami Tensei 4, releasing Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse three years later. With the fifth game releasing in 2021, this could make 2024 a possible release year for the full version.
Atlus has also had great success with re-releases of the Persona series – which emerged as an offshoot of Shin Megami Tensei – through games like Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. It recently released Persona 3 Reload, but that was a full upgrade rather than a full release.

Shin Megami Tensei V is a 2021 role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus for the Nintendo Switch. It is part of the Shin Megami Tensei series, the main series of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. Produced by Shin Megami Tensei IV creator Kazuyuki Yamai, it was designed as a hybrid between Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and Shin Megami Tensei IV, with returning gameplay mechanics such as demon-fighting.
The protagonist, an ordinary high school student, and his school friends Yuzuru Atsuta and Ichiro Dazai are trapped by a mysterious earthquake and transported to Da'at, an alternate apocalyptic version of Tokyo amidst an all-out battle between angels and demons.
