Manolis Sfakianakis: Commissioner for Online Information & Digital Services

Manolis Sfakianakis, a retired lieutenant general of the Hellenic Police and founder of the Cybercrime Prosecution Service, was appointed as the regional advisor on issues of Internet Information and Digital Services in the Attica Region.

In the October local elections, Manolis Sfakianakis managed to finish first in the battle of the cross in the South and throughout the Attica Region with 15,527 crosses.

The former head of the Prosecution of Electronic Crime in Greece and President of the International Cybersecurity Institute CSI Institute - Special Researcher - Electronic Crime Analyst was first in crosses in the local elections in the Attica Region, with the combination of Nikos Hardalias "Attica Forward".

Having had a long career in the Hellenic Police for over 30 years, Mr. Sfakianakis chose to combine his knowledge and expertise in digital issues, for the benefit of citizens.

Nikos Hardalias places particular emphasis on the role of the Metropolitan Committees, which are expected to be the leading bodies for the operation of the Region over the next five years. Manolis Sfakianakis has also been nominated for the Metropolitan Committee for Security & Crime Prevention.
