Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, son of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in an Instagram post describes his father as "a horrible and awful man" who makes his younger children "tremble with fear."
According to reports, Brad Pitt's son called him a "world-class a**hole" and a "terrible human being" in an Instagram post.
Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, 19, allegedly posted the post on his private Instagram story on Father's Day 2020, when he was 16 years old.
The teenager claimed that the recognizable actor made his four youngest children "tremble with fear" and "turned the lives of the people closest to [Pax] into a constant living hell."
Pax was adopted by Brad Pitt's ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie, from an orphanage in Vietnam near Ho Chi Minh City in 2012 and was later adopted by Pitt. The couple, who have six children together, divorced in 2016.
The Instagram post from 2020, supposedly written by Pax, says: “Happy Father's Day to this world-class a***hole”!
“You repeatedly prove yourself to be a terrible and disgusting person.”
"You show no compassion or understanding for your 4 youngest children, who tremble with fear when you are around them. You will never understand the damage you have caused to my family because you are incapable of doing so."
With your actions, you have made the lives of those closest to me a constant living hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come out one day.
"Well, Happy Father's Day, you awful little man!"
The quote was posted alongside a photo of Pitt wearing a black tie while accepting the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, which he won in 2020.
Messages posted to stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours, but a screenshot of an alleged post by Pax from three years ago has gone viral this week.
MailOnline reports that a source has confirmed that the private Instagram account from which the post was made belongs to Pax.
"It's the account he uses for friends – friends from school mostly," the source said.
Pitt and Jolie have five other children: Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.
The couple married in 2014 but divorced two years later, ending a 12-year relationship. After a lengthy legal battle, Jolie won custody of their five children, who were minors at the time.
Filing for divorce in September 2016, Jolie cited "irreconcilable differences" between her and Pitt.
