Previously, without giving any specific details, Nintendo gave a full reveal of its upcoming game starring the one and only Princess Peach. Making its full debut during the Nintendo Direct on September 14th, Princess Peach: Showtime! features the iconic princess changing out of her Sailor Moon-style outfits, which will grant her new abilities each time.

Princess Peach: Showtime! begins with Princess Peach and some Toads heading to the Sparkle Theater to watch a show. But before it even starts, the villainous Grape and the Sour Bunch ruin the show, forcing Peach and the theater's guardian Stella (a floating star) to stop it.
At first, it seems like the dynamic between Peach and Stella is the core of Princess Peach Showtime! – Stella hovers behind Peach, and her ribbon-like accessories can be used by the princess to slap bad guys or grab hard-to-reach coins. But the trailer soon reveals that Peach will be wearing many different hats in this upcoming game, as she transforms into Swordfighter Peach, who wears a fancy hat, pants, and a long coat. Yes, she has a sword and knows how to use it.

But wait, that's not all. Peach can also transform into Detective Peach to help find valuable artifacts stolen from a museum, tracking down clues. Or she can transform into Patisserie Peach to take part in a cake-making mini-game to keep a pastry shop open after someone steals all its sweets. Or, Kung-Fu Peach can beat up some bad guys at a martial arts school. Personally, I'm glad to see Peach finally wearing pants, while at other times she embraces her femininity - girls can do it all!
There are "many other transformations" available for you in Princess Peach: Showtime, but we only saw them during the trailer.
