Following an update to Tetris 99 last month, Nintendo has now announced that it will be hosting a new Maximus Cup in the game, specifically the first for 2024. You can also claim and unlock a theme for Princess Peach: Showtime!.

This event will be themed around Princess Peach: Showtime! and will run from April 5 to April 8.During this time, players will be able to unlock a theme based on the new title, which includes themed art backgrounds, music, and Tetrimino designs.
