The first major update to NBA 2K24 is just around the corner, as version 1.2 will be released on September 14th.

It's only been a few days since NBA 2K24 launched, and the game's first major update is already upon us. While there have been disagreements about the initial release window in some quarters, the developers are quickly working to fix the issues
More specifically, through several adjustments to various progression systems , changes to the difficulty of online play , and more, 2K Games is seeking to recover from a whole slew of negative reviews it received at the beginning.

MyCAREER/QUEST/PROGRESSION
- The mission to make it easier for all types of players to successfully complete.
- Addressed a rare issue that could cause crashes when loading MyCAREER.
- It addressed an issue that could hinder the progress of the NBA's second season .
- The issue that occurred when entering the arena before NBA games has been resolved.
- Michael Jordan will have to win his 7th championship before he can be included in the GOAT tier list.
- Users can no longer apply the same Floor Setter to more than one emblem.
MyTEAM
- Issues reported by users regarding Triple Threat Online: Co-Op games being played after replaying have been resolved.
- Reduced difficulty of Triple Threat Online: Co-Op vs. CPU games to Pro
- Added the ability to select a lineup before entering Triple Threat Online: Co-Op
MyNBA
- An issue that could occur in the Trade Finder menu when exiting and re-entering under certain circumstances has been resolved.
- Addressed an issue that could result in the team in future seasons in MyNBA.
