The iPhone SE 4 could end up with a feature intended for the 15 Pro models when it launches, according to a leaking user, as they outline the next evolution of Apple's entry-level model.

Apple is not expected to release the SE 4 for quite some time, with the iPhone SE 4 not expected to be released before 2025. Even so, rumors are swirling about what to expect from this model when it finally arrives.
In a tweet early on Sunday, the prolific leaker “@Uredditor” offered some details about the “scheduled features and design changes” for the iPhone SE 4.
The basic design of the iPhone SE 4 will be based on the iPhone 14. Given that previous iPhone SE versions have reused design elements from previous flagship iPhone releases, this makes sense, especially for something that is expected to ship more than two years after the launch of the iPhone 14.
The list of details includes a reference to an “Action Button” in the design. Leaks have suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro will get the mute switch replaced by the Action Button, a button that can be configured to handle multiple functions, such as acting as a camera shutter button.
Suggestion: Apple: Will it delay the release of the iPhone SE 4?
The remaining specifications describe in detail some additional expected features, such as the introduction of Face ID, which the iPhone SE 3 does not have in favor of Touch ID. The model will also have USB-C, which makes sense, as other models are expected to switch from Lightning to it at some point.
The leaker has a reasonable track record so far and has made claims about A17 specifications, the iPhone 16 camera layout, and USB-C components for the iPhone 15.
While the leaked specs are plausible, there's still a significant amount of time until the iPhone SE 4's release, and as usual for Apple, things could change long before then.
