Fans are counting down the days until the next big Bethesda RPG, Starfield, arrives, despite the reservations that exist about its release.

It's no secret that Bethesda games are buggy at launch, for better or worse. In fact, fans expect nothing less. Although there's certainly a difference between the somewhat lovable bugs in Skyrim and the poorly crafted launch that was Fallout 76. However, we're hearing that the latter is in much better shape now.
So it makes sense that fans would expect Starfield to be a bit buggy, despite Bethesda trying to allay concerns that it would be the company's least buggy game at launch. To be fair, Starfield looks to be a massive game that not only offers the largest city Bethesda, but also promises over 1000 planets for players to visit and explore. So it might be unrealistic to expect absolute perfection at launch.
Nevertheless, the players have discussed some of these concerns on Reddit. “Do you think Starfield will be as buggy/glitchy as other Bethesda titles?” asked Redditor AshNero_1998, opening the discussion in the thread.
“I know it is a large open-world game, so it is safe to assume it will have some bugs or malfunctions at launch, but remember: it is an open-world action RPG from Bethesda directed by Todd Howard”, they continued. “Do you think it will be as frequently glitchy as Fallout 4, Skyrim, or even worse: Fallout 76?”

“I have no doubt”, replied doofer20. “It's not even that it will be buggy. It's that we all know it will have the same bugs as the Fallout series”, added Rosfield-4104. “If a space giant doesn't send me junk paper into orbit, I'll be disappointed”, said iAmTheRealC2.
“We should expect a certain amount of bugs/glitches. It won't be perfect, that's for sure. I would like to hope that they have learned a bit from their past and will be less buggy than many previous titles”, explained rohobian. “But I won't have high hopes”.
We also won't expect miracles, but as long as we have a stable and enjoyable experience at launch, we will be satisfied. It is enough that any possible problems are resolved as soon as possible.
Starfield will be released for PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 6, 2023. Unless you pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition, in which case it will be on September 1. Starfield will also be released on day one on Xbox Game Pass.
