Google Search will get an AI-infused revamp that will make it more beautiful and easier to use for its users. Recently, Google announced that it is focusing on making its search engine more “visually pleasing, easy to use, personal, and human.”.
Google I/O is this Wednesday, and while I/O often doesn’t have much major search news, this year we expect that to change, with Google showing off and hopefully launching new AI-powered features in Google Search. “ Google plans to make its search engine more visually friendly, snackable, personal and human, with a focus on serving young people globally,” reports the Wall Street Journal.
Moving away from the classic “ten blue links,” Google is supposedly going to make changes towards providing a more “visually pleasing, easy-to-use, personal, and human” layout and interface designed to appeal more to younger users in search results.

Google will also provide a platform that lets you chat with its search engine. Will it be a Google Bard integration ? Will it be called Magi ? It's not clear, but we'll find out on Wednesday when Google 's Sundar Pichai takes the stage to give the keynote.

As we reported earlier, Google is working on a completely new search engine. A team of more than 160 Googlers is working full-time to add new features to Google Search. The project is codenamed “Magi,” according to these reports, and could roll out as early as next month to a subset of users. According to the report, Magi will allow search users to complete transactions, such as buying shoes or booking flights.
This would allow users to complete financial transactions while still integrating existing Google. These changes could allow users to answer questions about “software coding” and “writing code based on a user’s request.”

These reports came earlier from the New York Times, which reported: “The new search engine will offer users a much more personalized experience than the company’s current service, trying to anticipate users’ needs.” Google is still in its early stages, with no timetable for its launch. But this new effort demonstrates Google to redefine the search experience.
The Wall Street Journal reports that we'll see some of these shown off at the Google I/O.
“ Google plans to put a greater emphasis on answering questions that traditional web results can’t easily answer,” the Wall Street Journal. Users may be prompted to answer follow-up questions or check out visuals, such as TikTok, in response to their queries. We’ve already seen this with the short videos that Google has been testing since 2020 and launched shortly after.
Google may also display posts in online forums, which may be based on structured question and answer data, to make it easier for people to consume content .

Changes to Google Search could be significant in terms of the traffic that website owners, publishers, content creators, and others receive for their sites. Google sends a significant amount of traffic to the web. If Google moves away from the traditional ten blue links, which it has been doing gradually over the years, this mobility could change.
Generative artificial intelligence has gained popularity this year as a result of applications that have captured people's attention and prompted companies to race to launch comparable products that they hope will change the nature of employment.
However, some technology leaders and professionals have expressed concerns about the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence.
Elon Musk and many other tech CEOs and entrepreneurs signed an open letter in March arguing that artificial intelligence labs are engaged in an “uncontrolled race” to create and implement machine learning systems that no one can understand, predict, or safely control.
