While it's typical for early builds to not contain many user-facing changes, Mishaal Rahman is already revealing what this version brings. According to Google's release notes, bug fixes are the main part of the package.

QPR3 beta 1 is only a prerelease software and as such may experience some instability. We do not recommend installing it on your primary device unless absolutely necessary. However, if you decide to proceed with this version of the software, please read the list below to learn about any issues before installing!

  • If the user tries to open the camera by pressing the power button twice, the camera displays a black screen.
  • In some cases, when a work profile is enabled or disabled, the device restarts.
  • The recent apps list sometimes becomes unresponsive if the screen orientation changes while the list is open.

The build number for these new builds is T3B1.230224.005, and Google notes that the beta program will continue for QPR3 until the Android 14 beta program opens. Google also confirmed that anyone participating in the current QPR3 will automatically be enrolled in the upcoming Android 14 beta when it becomes available.
