Today, Uber introduced some innovative product features that make it easier to track your ride at the airport.

The ride-hailing company announced the addition of turn-by-turn directions to its app to guide users through busy airports, directing them from their gate directly to the Uber pickup location. The new directions, which are available in more than 30 airports around the world, include photos that show what you’ll see at the airport as you navigate your route.
To reduce traffic congestion and driver downtime, this update not only helps passengers find their driver, but also allows them to do so quickly. This feature is available at many major U.S. airports, including John F. Kennedy , LaGuardia, and Newark Liberty, all located in New York City, Los Angeles International Airport, San Francisco International Airport , Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and Miami International Airport.
“Our new suite of products and features will help you plan your upcoming trips and make your airport trips smoother than ever,” said Uber’s head of product, Jen You.

Additionally, the company expanded its Uber Reserve offering so users can book flights, hotels , and rides all at once — up to 90 days in advance! The move comes just before the busy summer vacation season and after the Transportation Security Administration said last month it was preparing for higher passenger volumes as travel trends begin to return to pre-pandemic levels.
