Apple admitted a few weeks ago that customers might face longer wait times for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models due to supply chain issues. But it seems the problem has gotten even worse, with many devices not arriving in time for Christmas.

Currently, the estimated shipping time for the devices on Apple's online store in the United Statesis six weeks. This puts deliveries for all iPhone 14 Pro models from December 27 onwards, which is out of reach for many would-be customers who would buy them as Christmas gifts.
The delays support analysts' expectations that Apple will not meet its previous estimates for shipments of iPhone 14 Pro models, following the lockdown at Foxconn's main factory in China, where the devices are assembled.
Investment firm Morgan Stanley lowered its previous estimate for the number of mobile phones Foxconn will ship in the current quarter from 85 million to 79 million, due to COVID -19 imposed at the Zhengzhou.

Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory is one of the largest iPhone in the world. The factory was recently placed on lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This caused delays in the production of the new iPhone 14 Pro.
“In their note, the analysts wrote that the lead time for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max has increased to four or five weeks compared to two to four weeks a month ago. This means that demand is still strong, even with the supply shortages.”
