Improvements to Active Noise Cancelling and Adaptive Transparency
Users of the original AirPods Pro know that headphones have a very strong Active Noise Cancelling feature. But now Apple says that the AirPods Pro 2 offer even better noise cancellation (twice as good) thanks to the upgraded H2 chip inside.
Meanwhile, the new H2 chip also improves Transparency Mode to Adaptive Transparency, which according to the company can “reduce loud environmental noise – like a passing vehicle siren, tools, or even loudspeakers at a concert.”

Longer battery life
Apple says the new AirPods Pro 2 now offer up to 6 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancelling or Adaptive Transparency enabled. The same amount of time is available with AirPods 3 without those features enabled. Compared to the regular AirPods Pro, there's a two-hour increase in battery life
In addition to six hours of listening time, the MagSafe charging case has up to 30 hours of battery life
New charging methods for the AirPods Pro 2
One of the biggest upgrades Apple brought was the ability to charge the AirPods Pro with a MagSafe. This meant that the AirPods Pro could be charged via Lightning, Qi accessories, or a MagSafe charger.

Now, with AirPods Pro 2, you can charge the device with these options, as well as with the Apple Watch magnetic charging puck. This is perfect for those who have the MagSafe Duo and also charge their iPhone.

New touch sensors
Finally, a major upgrade to the AirPods Pro 2 are the new touch sensors. With these sensors, you can swipe your finger up or down on the earbuds to increase or decrease the volume of the AirPods Pro 2.
These new touch sensors add to the existing AirPods Pro force sensors, which allow you to squeeze the stems to access play /pause controls and more.
Other changes to the AirPods Pro 2 include support for Bluetooth 5.3 and sound quality upgrades. Apple's new headphones come in at a price of $249.
