How to save a Snapchat video before posting it?
After recording and editing your video with Snapchat, you can save the video to your phone's gallery, even before posting it to the app.
Save videos to iPhone
To save a Snapchat video to your iPhone, open the Snapchat app and start creating your video. Shoot the video and feel free to use the editing tools on the right of your screen to make your video better.
When the video is edited and you are ready to save it to your Camera Roll, at the bottom of your screen, tap “Save.”
“Save” will change to “Saved,” indicating that the current video has been saved to Photos on iPhone .
Go to Photos on your iPhone and you will find there the new video you took and edited via Snapchat.

Save videos on Android
Open the Snapchat app on Android and start creating your video. Use the tools on the right sidebar of your screen to edit your video.
To save the video to your gallery, at the bottom of your screen, tap the down arrow icon.
This icon will change to a “check” icon, indicating that your video has been saved to your gallery.
Open your gallery and you will find the video you made on Snapchat.
How to save a Snapchat video after posting it on the app?
If you've already posted your video to Snapchat, you can also save it to your iPhone and Android phone.
Save videos to iPhone
Open Snapchat on your iPhone. In the top left corner of the app, tap Story to access your video.
On the profile page that opens, next to the Story where you saved your video, tap the download.
At the “Save Story” prompt, tap “Yes” to save the video to your Camera Roll and Snapchat Memories.
Open the Photos and you will see the video.

Save videos on Android
On your Android phone, open Snapchat and tap the Story icon in the top left corner.
On your profile page, tap the Story you posted your video to. Then tap your video.
On the video playback page, tap the three dots in the upper right corner.
From the menu at the bottom, select “Save”.
The video will be saved to your gallery!
