Telegram is a company that is constantly adding new features. It was recently spotted that the company was working on the ability to hide spoilers, and now, another upcoming feature has made its way into the beta version of the Telegram app for iOS: message reactions.

As shared on the Telegram subreddit (citing the so-called Beta Info Telegram channel), the app has gained a default selection of 11 emoji reactions that will make it easier for you to share how you feel about a message. In groups, you can see who reacted with which emoji, and admins will be able to disable the feature on a group or channel-by-group basis. It is also possible to allow specific emoji reactions.
Each of the reactions when activated is accompanied by a playful animation, with the fire emoji burning and the thumb reaction spawning a series of different thumbs from its center.
So far, only Telegram's iOS beta has gotten reactions, but it's safe to assume that Telegram will soon bring it to all of its supported platforms, including Android.

Most messenger services have supported reactions for a long time, with Facebook and Facebook Messenger being the first examples that come to mind. Slack, Discord, and Apple iMessage also have similar reactions. We're happy that Telegram has decided to integrate this feature that makes conversations a little more interactive.
