Microsoft has announced Windows 11, which comes with several changes compared to previous versions of Windows. The new operating system (OS) offers many features and has already enticed most users, however, some believe that it should have even more.
With every good thing, however, comes a sacrifice. The company announced new system requirements that could make some older PCs incompatible with the new version. Most users would like to know if their PC will be able to handle the new version. How can you check if your PC can run Windows 11?

Use Microsoft's PC Health Check tool to check the health of your PC
A new Windows 11 support page on Microsoft's site lists its features and frequently asked questions. You can download the PC Health Check tool and check if your PC supports Windows 11.
- Download the Computer Health Check Tool and open it.
- On the installer screen, accept the license terms and click the “Install”.
- Once the app is installed, click the “Finish”. Make sure the Open Health for Windows PC.
- Once you open the tool, you will see your computer configuration on the left, and a banner that says “Introducing Windows 11.”Click the blue “Check Now” to continue.
- By clicking the “Check Now”, the tool will analyze your computer and let you know whether it is compatible with Windows 11 or not.
- If the computer is compatible, a pop-up message will appear saying “This PC can run Windows 11”.

This way you can check if your PC can run Windows 11. If your system fails the test, then you can buy a new Windows 11 PC in the future.
Note: If you receive the message “This PC can’t run Windows 11” even though your hardware specifications match the system requirements, you will need to enable TPM (Trusted Platform Module) from your system’s UEFI configuration. The TPM 2.0 chip is a hardware requirement to run Windows 11.
