OGUsers hacked: The popular hacking forum OGUsers has been hacked for the fourth time in about two years. The hackers who breached it are selling the site's database containing user files and private messages.
OGUsers is known for selling stolen social media accounts, which have been compromised through SIM-swapping, credential stuffing, and other attacks.

OGUsers members were also charged by the US Department of Justice for their involvement in a series of successful hacks Twitter account, which were used to promote a cryptocurrency-related scam.
OGUsers hacked: The hacking forum breach occurred earlier this month
Last week, security firm KELA tweeted that the administrator of hacking forum OGUsers confirmed that the site had been compromised, after a web shell was uploaded to the server.
At the time, the OGUsers administrator was unsure whether the database had been hacked, but shortly thereafter, members of a competing hacking forum began selling the stolen OGUsers database for $3,000.
BleepingComputer sources report that OGusers was breached on April 11, 2021.The database stolen by the attackers includes records and private messages of approximately 350,000 OGUsers members.
The same sources report that OGUsers uses many plugins that contain vulnerabilities that attackers could exploit to compromise the site.
Vitali Kremez, CEO of cybersecurity firm Advanced Intel, said that database leaks from hacking forums could benefit security researchers and law enforcement.
“This OGUsers leak could potentially expose cybercriminals through their email accounts and IP addresses and reveal their true identities“.
“Previous OGUsers leaks have revealed critical information that has helped uncover cybercrime, particularly those related to cryptocurrency account takeover scams and SIM swapping,” Kremez told BleepingComputer.
OGUsers hacked: The fourth time the site
As we said above, this is the fourth time that the site has been hacked and forum user data has been sold.
In May 2019, the administrator of OGUsers informed its users that the forum had been compromised after hackers exploited a custom plugin.

“We believe that many members of OGUsers will likely move to other communities – and perhaps even create new ones,” said a KELA spokesperson.
