Text messages are usually used for instant communication between users . But what if someone wants to send a message at a later time and is afraid of forgetting it? If you have an Android device , you can schedule messages text to be sent at a specific time and day.

Google's Messages app is one of the best messaging apps for Android smartphones . In late 2020, it gained the ability to schedule messages. Many users found this to be a useful feature.
To be able to use this feature, you will need to download the Messages app from the Play Store and set it as your default SMS app. When you first open it, you will see a “Set Default SMS App” button.
On the next screen or pop-up window, select “Messages” (from the options that will appear) and click “Set as Default” (bottom right).
All previous conversations will now appear in Messages.
Select a conversation to schedule a message.
Then, write the message you want to schedule and long press the send icon.
A window will appear with scheduling options. The time zone is displayed at the top. You can select one of the suggested times or click on “Pick date and time” to enter a specific date and time.

In this case, you will be asked to select a date from the calendar and a time. Tap “Next” when finished.
The date and time you selected will be displayed once again. Press “Save” to confirm your selections.
Above your message, you'll see the scheduled time and day. Tap the send icon to schedule the message.
You can tap the clock icon (in front of the message) to change the message text or the scheduled time to send it or delete it completely.

With this method, you can be sure that you won't forget to send wishes or other important messages to your friends.
