Your Mac doesn't display the battery percentage by default, although you can click the battery icon to see the percentage in the drop-down menu .
Fortunately, you have another option, you can add the battery percentage value next to the battery icon, and in a very easy way
Click on the Apple from the bar and select “System Preferences”.
Here, go to the “Dock & Menu Bar” section.
Now, from the sidebar, select the “Battery” option.
Here, click the check mark next to “Show Battery Percentage”
And now you're all set, you'll now see the percentage next to the battery icon in the menu bar!
While in the Dock & Menu Bar section, you can also check the “Show in Control Center” option to add a battery icon with the percentage to the bottom of Control Center.
