If you're one of those people who orders a lot of things from Amazon, but want to receive all of your packages on the same day, you can try Amazon One Day Delivery. Available to Prime members, this feature allows all orders to be delivered on the same day every week.
What is Amazon Same Day Delivery?
Amazon Day Delivery is a service provided by Amazon for its Prime members, which allows all their packages to be delivered on the same day every week.
You can simply go to the Amazon website or app and set your preferred delivery day. Then, any orders you place during the week will always arrive on the same day.
It's a great way to combat theft, as packages will only be delivered when the customer is home to pick them up. Your orders can also be packaged together, so you have fewer packages.
However, only packages you order through “Amazon Day Delivery” will arrive on the day you want.
There are some restrictions, however. All items in orders must be eligible for Prime delivery and shipped from an Amazon fulfillment center. Therefore, some items are not eligible for delivery through this service.
To use Amazon Day Delivery, you first need to have an active Prime membership. It's easy to sign up through the Amazon website or app.
Next, you need to select your preferred delivery day. On the website or app, simply start the checkout process. When you go to the “Checkout & Shipping” page on the website or “Shipping Details” page on the app, look for the “Free Amazon Day Delivery” option. Below that, click or tap on “Change Delivery Day.”
A pop-up window will then appear where you can select up to two preferred delivery days. Amazon will do its best to deliver your orders on the day you select. When you're ready, click or tap "Save and continue.".
You will be redirected back to the checkout screen where the “Free Amazon Day Delivery” method should already be selected. If it isn’t, simply click or tap the radio button next to it.
Finally, click or tap “Place your order” and you're done.
