Of SpaceX's Starlink communications satellites, 57 are packed quite densely into the payload fairing , as are two BlackSky Global spacecraft .
With the success of this mission, the space services company , SpaceX, will have nearly 600 Starlink satellites launched into space.
Regarding the weather, the forecast is 60% "go". In the event of a delay, things are more favorable, as it improves to 70% for Friday afternoon.
About eight minutes after liftoff, the Falcon 9 rocket's first-stage tower will aim for an automatic landing on the " Of Course I Love You " drone ship . The drone ship is in the Atlantic Ocean .
SpaceX's goal is to have nearly 12,000 satellites operating in low Earth orbit, while its future plans are to launch an additional 30,000 satellites in the coming years.
Part of the goal of building the Starlink broadband constellation is to help fund CEO Elon Muskof establishing a colony on Mars.
