
The COVID-19 has forced many employees to switch to remote work. In fact, despite the lifting of restrictions in many countries, many employees still continue to work from home . However, there are several technical difficulties when working remotely. This situation affects both employees and employers.
App design company Fluxonconducted a survey of 1,005 employees who were forced to leave their offices and work from home during the lockdown. The company wanted to see changes in behavior work due to the transition to remote work.

Nearly one in four (23.3%) employees reported feeling more disciplined and nearly one in three (29.6%) reported feeling more creativewhile working from home.
However, nearly three in four (72.4%) reported experiencing some difficulties during this transition. Technology plays a large role in these difficulties.
More than half (50.6%) said they had encountered technology problems while working from home. Nearly two in five (39.6%) and more than one in three (34.4%) had problems during video conferences with colleagues.
One in three workers reported feeling less disciplined and effective, while many also felt socially isolated (32.5%) and bored (31%).
Also, 12% admitted that they had problems with colleagues communicating with them outside of working hours.

Although the majority of employees want to continue working remotely, several things need to be done so that the technology can be used successfully.
It is essential to have effective collaboration tools and applications that will allow employees to do their work better.
