The beta version of Fedora 32 Linux has been released. After many changes and improvements, its stable version has finally been released. The latest Fedora contains many differences and improvements compared to its old version. However, because Fedora is a Red Hat community project, it is not as well known compared to other Linux such as Ubuntu and Manjaro. Regardless of its popularity, however, Fedora 32 contains many new features, as well as changes that are worth mentioning.
GNOME 3.36:
One of the most important changes in Fedora 32 is that it comes with the latest GNOME 3.36 desktop environment. The latest version of GNOME brings with it several visual changes, as well as many improvements to the system interfaces.

New Extension App:
Another major change in Fedora 32 is support for the GNOME Extensions application. Now, with application , users can easily install, configure, and even delete system extensions, without the need for additional software.
Unfortunately, this application is not preinstalled in Fedora 32. However, you can easily install it by opening a terminal and typing:
sudo dnf install gnome-extensions-app
Computational Neuroscience Lab:
Until now, there were 6 different distributions (Astronomer, Designer, Gamer, Musician, Developer, and Security Tester). However, with Fedora 32, a new distribution called Comp-NeuroFedora lab was introduced.
In the new distribution of the system, users can find a clean interface, combined with many applications for daily use. The purpose of the distribution is Open Source research, modeling and data analysis. For the same reason, the distribution comes with some pre-installed applications such as: Auryn, Bionetgen, Calc:calcium-calculator, GENESIS, NEURON and Python with many additional libraries.
Along with the above, various services such as the EarlyOOM Service, which was designed for better swap memory management, have also found their place in the new version of Fedora. In addition, applications such as python, php and Django have been updated to the latest available versions. In addition to these, Fedora now also supports AArch64/ppc64le packages. System Update/Installation:
Whether you already have Fedora or are planning to install it, it is a good idea to backup your system before doing anything below. The process of updating your system is simple. All you need to do is open a terminal and type:
sudo dnf upgrade –refresh -y
sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade
sudo dnf system-upgrade download –releasever=32
sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot
Otherwise, you can download an installation file, and then install Fedora using a bootable USB.
