Private messages from 81,000 Facebook members are being sold for 10 cents per account through FBSaler. The hacked accounts appear to come from the underground forum BlackHatWorld.
In addition to private messages from 81,000 profiles, FBSaler also published information from another 176,000 accounts, complete with email addresses and phone numbers.
FBSaler told the BBC that they have a total of data from 120 million Facebook accounts, but without providing any proof.

However, as the BBC stated, “the BBC Russian service contacted five Russian Facebook users whose private messages were allegedly stolen and they confirmed that they were theirs.”.
Of the 120 million profiles that FBSaler reportedly has, 2.7 million accounts belong to Russians.
Facebook, for its part, told the BBC that its systems had not been compromised, and that they believed the data came from browser extensions.
"We have reached out to browser manufacturers to ensure that known malicious extensions are no longer available for download in their stores," Facebook's Guy Rosen told the BBC.
We have also contacted the authorities and are working with Russian services to shut down the website that displays information from Facebook accounts.
Facebook seems to be going through a never-ending crisis, starting with the Cambridge Analytica and then immediately following with a security issue that affected 50 million users in September.
