According to the iOS Stocks app, Apple just became the world’s first trillion-dollar company, as AAPL crossed the $207.60 per share mark.
It took more than forty years, but today Apple is officially the world’s first trillion-dollar company, according to Google Finance and Yahoo Finance, which are the sources for the iOS Stocks app for iPhone and iPad.
Apple’s recently announced revenue for the third fiscal quarter of 2018 was $53.3 billion.
Apple Inc. (AAPL) is currently trading at $207.77 per share on the NASDAQ (see image above), making Apple the first $1 trillion company.
It should be noted that if Apple has succeeded, other major companies such as Amazon or Microsoft could follow in the coming months or years. However, these numbers do not mean much to the companies' customers.
We will monitor the AAPL index in the coming days to see if Apple remains at the $1 trillion mark.
The Cupertino, California-based company intends to strengthen its position with the new releases it is preparing for the fall. Will we see innovations?
