WiproTechnology company Wipro said it is conducting an internal investigation after discovering that hackers had gained access to its data for several months.

Wipro is the third largest outsourcing company in India.

The discovery came after the company noticed some suspicious activity on the accounts of some employees on network . A company spokesperson said it was a phishing campaign.

The company said it immediately launched an investigation, identified the accounts that had been affected, and took steps to minimize the impact of the attack.
