Google Inbox is one of the most important parts of Gmail. Its entry into Gmail brought many features that serve users. Some of them are upgraded filtering, the ability to snooze messages, and a better organization of Gmail's incoming messages. Recently, Google announced its plans to end the operation of Google Inbox but had not given a specific date. But now, it gives more details.
When users go to the Inbox page: Google.com/inbox, they see a message informing them that “Inbox is going away. Find your favorite features in the new Gmail.” The company will shut down Inbox at the end of March. The Inbox app has until April 2 to shut down.
If someone tries to access Inbox on a desktop, they see the following message:

Google has moved some features of Inbox to Gmail. However, it hasn't moved everything. For example, highlighting active links, the option to save links within Inbox, or the ability to archive messages in groups are not available in Gmail.
As Google shuts down Inbox, another email client is making its debut next month. An email client called Spark is set to launch for Android. With Inbox dead, the new email client could attract a lot of users.
