Yes, it's February 14th today, and we're celebrating Valentine's Day, which is about killing Medusa and falling in love with Ewoks - or something. Anyway, whatever Valentine's Day is, here are the most popular commands given to Alexa on such a day:
“Alexa, what are you doing on Valentine's Day?”
“Alexa, will you be my Valentine?”
“Alexa, recite a Shakespeare sonnet”
“Alexa, will you marry me?”
“Alexa, find me romantic movies.”
Of course, other questions and commands that are asked to the voice assistant Alexa on Valentine's Day were also released and they were truly hilarious.
But if you really want to create a romantic mood for your partner, use Alexa Routines and follow these steps:
- Go to the Routines section of the Alexa app
- Press + to create a new Routine
- Click “When this happens..”
- Tap Voice and give the command name like “Alexa, it’s time for work”
- Click Add
- Tap music, then type in the name of the artist, song, or playlist
- Select a source, e.g. Spotify.
- Add another action
- Select another smart bulb and edit the behavior
- Select Power: on. Brightness: 30% and Color: deep romantic red. Click Next.
- Save your Routine and use it sparingly.
