Apple's Mac App Store has, for the first time, acquired the Microsoft Office 365 suite for MacBook users.
The listing of Microsoft Office in the Mac App Store will allow users to easily and conveniently use Microsoft applications, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and more.
As a reminder, earlier Mac users had to download their desired Microsoft apps from Microsoft's website, which was a hassle. However, now this long process is coming to an end.
Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said: “Apple and Microsoft have partnered to bring the great productivity of Office to Mac users. Now, with Office 365 in the Mac App Store, it’s easier than ever to get the latest and greatest version of Office 365 for Mac, iPad and iPhone.”.
The Microsoft Office 365 suite will be available in the Mac App Store for free for one month.
After that, users will be able to choose between two variants: the personal version for $70 per year and the upgraded Home version for $100 per year, which has added features depending on each person's preferences.
Additionally, Microsoft Office 365 also supports specific Mac features, such as Dark Mode and Continuity Camera on macOS, MacBook Pro Touch Bar, and Mac Trackpad.
