Tinder is preparing to make the user experience even more fun and is testing a new feature that will allow users to share music clips with their matches, through the integration of Spotify into the application.

So far, Tinder has been offering users more and more fun ways to interact. For example, they can now share Bitmoji or GIFs and can like messages in chat with the heart icon. Also, soon there is expected to be the ability to share music! This will be possible, as the Spotify app will be integrated into Tinder, as it has already been done with Instagram. So far, this feature is being tested on the web and iOS globally.
It should be noted that Spotify integration is not new news, as both Tinder and its competitor Bumble have been talking about it since 2016. In fact, it has been proposed several times by them but never materialized. To prove this, Tinder has its own account on Spotify and contains many lists of songs related to love and romance. The reason why Spotify integration is highly anticipated is because music plays a big role in people's feelings and communication. Most users on social media love to connect through sharing songs. Many even start conversations because of it. So Tinder is attempting to add the new feature to strengthen user interaction and comfort between them.
Let people who are new to Tinder know that the upcoming “Anthem” feature will allow them to choose their favorite song or one that fits their personality and will appear as a separate category on their profile. So while the app isn’t matching users based on their musical preferences, users will now be able to do so themselves.
