A new report from the company suggests that Samsung is preparing to bring a second smart speaker! The model number is "SM-V310" and it will be released in black.

While the price for the Bixby-powered Galaxy Home hasn't been announced yet, it's sure to pack some impressive features, like AKG audio, eight microphones, and the ability to direct sound to the user's location. All of this means it'll compete with the Apple HomePod, which costs $349! With that in mind, we'd assume the second Samsung speaker will compete with the Amazon Echo and Google Home, which cost less than $200.
In addition to smart speakers, Samsung has focused on installing Bixby, which will be the digital assistant and will be activated each time by the user's voice. The company is trying to complete it by 2020. Also, regarding Bixby, it is rumored that it will also be available on televisions, refrigerators and air conditioners. In fact, the representative of the eponymous company claimed that if consumers can use Bixby on televisions, ovens and refrigerators, this will completely change their daily lives.
Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S8, Bixby was launched as a built-in device in March 2017, following several negative reviews for its lack of functionality. According to research, Bixby is used by only 6% of consumers in the US, compared to 24% for Amazon, 22% for Apple, and 20% for Google
In order to increase the number of people using it, Samsung is preparing to make Bixby available in additional foreign languages in the coming months. However, the move is not expected to attract a sufficient number of consumers, as several experts have said that Samsung has a poor track record with software and services and there are doubts about whether consumers will find Bixby useful.
