Chrome Dino: An Easter Egg in Google Chrome is the dinosaur game, which appears when you try to visit a page and you are not connected to the Internet.
The Chrome Dino game lets you drive a T Rex and jump over cacti to avoid obstacles. Press the spacebar to make the dinosaur jump (and to start the game), and the down arrow to move forward. The goal is to survive for as long as possible, or at least until your Internet starts working.

To celebrate Chrome dino's fourth birthday, Google published an interview with the developers who created the game, explaining its origins.
Why dinosaurs? According to Chrome designer Sebastien Gabriel, it is a game that goes back to "prehistoric times", before the ubiquity of Wi-Fi.
The initial plans for the dinosaur were codenamed “Project Bolan,” a reference to Marc Bolan, the last lead singer of the 1970s glam rock band T-Rex.
The game was released in September 2014, but initially appeared on some platforms, as on others (older Android devices), the game would have to be developed from scratch. In December of the same year, development was completed, so everyone could access the game, regardless of their login (or non-login) device.
The Chrome Dino game can be considered a huge success even though it is hidden. According to Edward Jung, a Chrome UX engineer, 270 million games are played every month, from desktop and mobile. Most players come from markets with unreliable internet, such as India, Brazil, Indonesia, and Mexico.
You can play the Chrome dino game without enabling Plain Mode. Just open the internal address chrome://dino in the Chrome you are using.
The current version of the game is celebrating its 4th birthday and is filled with colorful cakes, balloons, and hats.
