For quite some time now, iPhone users have been able to charge an iOS device using a power bank. There are a ton of them to choose from. But none of these portable chargers have been designed specifically for Apple devices , until now.
Belkin's new Boost Charge Power Bank 10K, with Lightning Connector technology, is an attempt by the manufacturer to pique the interest of Apple users, as according to its description, it is specifically designed for iPhones and iPads.
The USP of this 10,000mah power bank is that it is Apple certified under the MFi program. As you may know, having an MFi certified device means that it has passed quality control before getting the green light from Apple. It reduces the chances of problems being caused to Apple devices and helps in maintaining a good image of the company.
With two existing USB-A ports, it can be used to charge two Apple devices simultaneously, using Lightning cables. The power bank has four LED indicators to display the charge level. It is available in two color options, white and black.
As for the iPhone X with its 2,700 mAh battery, it could be charged almost three times using the power bank. The list of compatible devices also includes iPads, as one of the charging ports supports 2.4 amps.
