Samsung could release the new Galaxy Note 9 in five different colors, according to a new leak, and the device will apparently come with the refreshed S Pen available in corresponding configurations.
The information that has reached the internet via Galaxy Club suggests that the August 9th unveiling will include five colors, namely black, gray, purple, blue, and brown. Like the previous versions, the device will be made entirely of glass, so that these colors do not have the typical look, but have a more distinctive look.
For example, the brown version is more likely to be closer to gold, while the black will be similar to what is currently available on the Galaxy S9.
Just as expected, the S Pen will also be sold in matching colors, as was the case with previous Note.
But as for the S Pen, the same source claims that the stylus will gain several new features, including the ability to take photos remotely using just a button. At the same time, music playback controls will also be offered, and the S Pen will include a small battery that will support recharging when connected to the smartphone.
The Galaxy Note 9 is set to be unveiled on August 9 in New York City, with sales set to begin later that month. It will feature only minor changes from the Galaxy Note 8 in terms of appearance, as it is more of a transitional model that Samsung is using to buy more time before launching the dramatically revamped S10 in January 2020.
Full details will likely emerge in the coming weeks ahead of the press conference in early August.
