Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 9 in early August, and while there is no official information on the matter, a recent discovery seems to be in line with that plan.

The Galaxy Note 9 recently received FCC certification, with three models receiving the approval, namely the model number SM-N960F, the dual-SIM model SM-N960F/DS, and the SM-N960X variant for Asian countries. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was listed as the model number SM-N950F.
Previous leaks have pointed to August as the launch month, with two different dates recently being floated, August 2 and 9. The latter seems to be what most sources believe to be accurate, though we'll learn more about it when Samsung starts sending out invites.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is more likely to be the South Korean company's transition model to buy more time until the Galaxy S10 launches in early 2019.
This means that most of the specs will be similar to those of the Galaxy S9 Plus, including the processor and cameras. On the other hand, the rumor says that Samsung could offer a new storage option of up to 512GB, while the more expensive S9 Plus currently sells with 256GB in the top configuration.
Additionally, it is believed that the company could upgrade the battery to up to 4,000 mAh, while an improved S Pen will be launched alongside the Galaxy Note 9, likely with improved pressure sensitivity.
Most of these details are still unconfirmed at this point, so it will be interesting to see how Samsung improves its phablet at a time when Apple is preparing to introduce much more refreshed iPhones . Apple 's trio of iPhones are scheduled to be released in September.
