Adam Padgett has created a new IoT device in the form of a smart energy monitor and controller, designed specifically for businesses. The cell-based monitor can report outages on devices, from a simple light bulb to more complex appliances, by remotely turning the device on and off.

The database design and back-end functionality have been coded to support any type of sensor or controller that adds service, based on business requirements and demand.”
