As we all know, Apple ditched the aluminum construction on the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X in favor of glass. This material not only provides aesthetic appeal but also allows for wireless charging.
On the other hand, a glass construction does not cease to have its disadvantages. First, glass makes the smartphone more slippery, so it is extremely easy to drop it. Apple has tried hard to make its new smartphones , and it has probably succeeded.
The various tests (torture) that users subjected the new models to proved that all three iPhones are extremely durable. Another positive conclusion that came out of the tests is that Apple are not prone to bending, or so we thought until now.
A user comes to prove with photos that the iPhone 8 Plus can finally bend (a bug that was first identified in the iPhone 6).
He identified the durability problem by doing an everyday thing that we all have done. While going to sit down in a chair, he forgot that he had his phone in his pocket and sat on it for a few seconds. He then realized that his device was bent.
The strange - but pleasant - thing about the case is that apart from the shape of the iPhone 8 Plus, no other damage was caused to the device. Everything works perfectly.
So if we take anything from the user story, it's that we should be a little more careful with these devices as the glass body can also bend very easily. But it's certainly not the end of the world!
