The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are rumored to launch with the same form factor and screen size as the current Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. A recent report said that the new Galaxy S9 will also come with the 18:5:9 aspect ratio like the Galaxy S8.
It is expected that the Galaxy S9 will have a 5.8-inch display and the Galaxy S9 Plus a 6.2-inch display. The device will also feature a much slimmer frame than the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus.
We expect that the new Samsung will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and the new Samsung Exynos 9810 processor. Also, it is said that it will have at least 6 GB RAM, possibly 8 GB.
Samsung is working to refresh facial recognition for their new Galaxy S9 mobile phones and the device is also likely to come with dual cameras. Rumors say the new phones will be released earlier than usual, next year.
Samsung will announce the S9 and S9 Plus at Mobile World Congress 2018 in February, although they also announced them at their own press event in March or April. There are also rumors of a third device, the Galaxy S9 Mini, although it will probably be released later in the year.
