The Microsoft Edge for Android may be ready soon

The development of Microsoft Edge for Android and iOS is progressing at a very fast pace, with updates rolling out regularly to both platforms, and now it looks like Microsoft could finally be ready to release the browser to all users.

Microsoft

The Android version of Microsoft Edge is no longer released as a beta version, although the preview label is still there, but this could be an indication that the company is close to completing the testing stage and could launch the app as a stable version on the Play Store.

Microsoft hasn't said anything about the Edge browser being ready for public release, but the company has been working hard lately to make the app more stable and expand its feature set.

For example, the latest update brought a dark theme to the browser, as well as password syncing features, which should be useful to those who use Edge on other platforms, such as on a Windows 10 desktop. Using a Microsoft account, passwords can thus roam between devices using the power of the cloud, making it somewhat easier to authenticate in Microsoft Edge to your favorite websites.

There are many other features in Microsoft Edge, including Continue on PC, a tool that allows mobile users to continue a browsing session on a Windows 10 PC.

The system must be running the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and allows for quick submission of a specific website to the desktop and continuing from where users left off with just a few taps.
