An iPhone 8 Plus explodes while charging

A recent report from Taiwan shows a 64GB iPhone 8 Plus exploding while charging, raising questions about Apple, ATL, which is also responsible for the faulty batteries of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. iPhone 8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco has shaken up all the manufacturing companies, which are now very careful with the choice of battery supplier. Samsung, as we remember, was forced to withdraw an entire series of devices due to a bad choice.

The number of iPhones with faulty batteries is very low compared to the percentage of units it has sold so far, but now the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are causing quite a stir among the public.

While we're not talking about an explosion, the fact that the screen of an iPhone 8 Plus 64GB exploded due to a swollen battery is not a good sign. The phone belonged to a woman who, upon realizing the incident, rushed to remove the phone from the charger as quickly as possible to avoid an explosion.

He also mentioned that he was using the official charger and that he used the device very little.

Apple has already replaced the defective device with new ones.

As we mentioned earlier, the company that manufactures the batteries for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is called ATL and is the same one that supplied Samsung for the Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung ended its partnership with ATL after the fiasco, as the latter could no longer guarantee the safety of the batteries it would offer. Will Apple do the same?
