OneDrive Uninstaller is a free script for Windows 10 that completely removes Microsoft's file storage and syncing service.
You know that all devices running Windows 10 include OneDrive. The file sync and storage service is used to sync data between devices, if and as long as you use a Microsoft account to sign in to Windows 10.

Additionally, it provides access to files on OneDrive without having to install the OneDrive app.
But if you don't use OneDrive and have no plans to start using the service in the future, then it's a burden on your system.
Note: Removing OneDrive completely from a Windows 10 computer may break several features. For example, access to roaming profiles, App store settings, or settings for services that use the cloud. Also, all files that OneDrive contains on the system will be removed along with the application.
Because OneDrive Uninstaller is offered as a batch script, you can – and should – verify what it does before running it on your computer. Simply right-click on the file and choose to open it in any text editor installed on your system.
Then you can read each line of the script to make sure it will do what it claims and nothing else. Of course in this format and as long as you know what you are doing, you can modify it as well.
What does the script do:
- It will terminate the OneDrive process, if it is found to be running.
- Checks whether your operating system is 32 or 64 bit.
- Uninstalls OneDrive.
- Deletes OneDrive folders that are not removed during uninstallation.
- Deletes Registry keys that belong to OneDrive and are not removed during uninstallation.
To run the OneDrive Uninstaller, which will remove OneDrive from your system, right-click on it and select run as administrator. The script will not run with regular user rights.
Download OneDrive Uninstaller or create your own using the code below.
Simply copy and paste the code into a txt file and save it with the .bat extension (Save As: name.bat).
