Facebook Find Wi-Fi: Last year, Facebook began testing a feature that made it easier to find public Wi-Fi networks around you. It was only available on iOS devices and only in select areas.
Facebook is rolling out the feature across all of its mobile apps today. Just tap the 'More' tab and then select 'Find Wi-Fi.' You'll see all the nearby Wi-Fi locations in a list or on a map. In addition to the wireless connections, you'll also find information about the businesses that host them.

Facebook's new Find Wi-Fi feature will be very useful at any time, especially if you're traveling abroad and don't have a data connection. There's often Wi-Fi somewhere around you, but getting a consistent signal can be a problem, especially if you don't know where the network is coming from.
Similarly, the feature is very useful if you are on a limited data plan and are trying to use Wi-Fi as much as possible to avoid paying additional fees.
Keep in mind that the social network's tool only shows Wi-Fi networks that businesses have chosen to share their information with on Facebook, so you likely won't find all possible connections through the new service.

Also note that Facebook will activate its Location History tracker if you enable the Find Wi-Fi feature, which keeps a history of all the places you've visited.
At the moment, although I checked my device, the new feature does not seem to be available in Greece despite Facebook's announcement stating that it will be available worldwide. The device is an iPhone with the social network application updated.
Who knows, we might see the new feature later.
